This week the µOrganoLab gathered for its second annual BBQ garden party in Prof. Dr. Peter Loskill’s garden!
Filled with an array of unique salads and desserts made by the lab members and a grill mastered my Peter’s father, there was no shortage of delicious food! Some highlights were Adrian Weghofer’s ‚Legendary Date Dip‘, Helena Castañé’s gazpacho, Yuwen Huang’s cold wood ear and tofu skin salad, and Caroline Culp’s famous vegan American chocolate chip cookies!
All of our lab mascots and other furry friends were invited, creating an energetic and fun atmosphere. It was also an excellent opportunity to bring together family’s and meet the children and partners of all the lab members. It’s times like these where having such a large and diverse group can create an incredible gathering!
As the superheated summer comes to an end, this party was just what we needed to recharge our social batteries and energize us as a group. Looking into the future, the µOrganoLab is excited for a collaboritive and innovative fall!
