We began our year embracing the diversity of our group! At our annual New Year’s potluck, our lab members all prepared unique dishes from their home country.
From Spanish croquetas, Nastar (Indonesian pineapple tart), Fellah Köfte (Turkish bulgur dumplings), Pismaniye (Turkish cotton candy), Jannsons Frestelse (Swedish potato casserole), Kässpätzle (Swabian cheese noodles), Linzertorte (Austrian pastry), American chocolate chip cookies, and even ‚Adrian’s Legendary Date Dip‘, we had a spectacular array of cuisines!
The evening was spent completing an interactive bingo session and a fun ‚Guess the Liquid‘ game!
