In March we had the honor of hosting the GET-IN consortium in our beautiful city of Tübingen for an Organ-on-Chip training school!
With many lectures and hands-on activities, we took a deep dive into Organ-on-Chip technology, specifically examining how these systems can accelerate the development of Gene Therapies. Additionally, we had an in-depth session on the ethics of Organ-Chip models in research with regards to the development of Gene Therapies, opening an important discussion about the future of the field.
With the doctoral condidates entering the last year of their PhDs, we also featured a course of Project Writing. Hopefully they have gained some skills that they will surely use in the near future!
Of course, we could not let the students leave our wonderful city without giving them the full Swabian experience with a few evenings on the town with an array of local cuisine and beers!
