Alice Strobel
MSc Student
Alice completed her high school education with a specialization in biotechnology in Zell/Esslingen, which sparked her strong interest in the field. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen, where her thesis focused on investigating the effects of plant extracts on cell-based assays.
To deepen her expertise in cell culture and analytical techniques, Alice began her master’s studies in Biomedical Science and Technologies at Mannheim. For her master’s thesis, she is thrilled to be working at the NMI alongside Lisa-Marie Erlandsdotter, concentrating on iPSC-derived 3D co-culture models.
Beyond her academic endeavors, Alice enjoys bouldering, go-karting, and spending time with her boyfriend and their cat.
