Benjamin Moser
MSc Student
Ben studied Industrial Biotechnology at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Hochschule Biberach. During his Bachelor’s thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Biology in Tübingen, he worked on protein interaction. As part of an internship in the Quality Department at Roche Pharma in Penzberg, he worked in antibody release and stability and gained experience with xGMP, CAPA, Quality-by-Design approaches, and the preparation of standardized quality documents. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Benjamin continued his studies with an M.Sc. in Industrial Biotechnology at Ulm University, focusing on areas such as systems biotechnology, cell culture, and next-generation sequencing.
In September 2026, he joined the μOrganoLab for his Master's thesis within the endometriosis research project supervised by Adrian Weghofer and Nina Köder. His motivation is to better understand how diseases develop and progress, with the long-term goal of contributing to more personalized treatment approaches.
Outside the lab, Ben enjoys hiking, travelling, working out at the gym, and trying out new sports.
