Emily Bantel
Intern
Emily received her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen. For her Bachelor's thesis, she conducted research at the Robert Bosch Center for Tumor Diseases in Stuttgart, focusing on epigenetic mechanisms in pancreatic cancer. She will begin her Master's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen in October.
To bridge the time before starting her Master's program, she is completing an internship at the MicroOrganoLab, working on the cervix-on-chip project.
In her free time, she enjoys playing football, cooking, travelling, and spending time with friends.
