Esther Hruschka

BSc Student

Esther studied Bioanalytics at the University of Sigmaringen. Throughout her studies, she developed her interests in immunology and cell biology as well as in cell-culture technologies. Because of her interest in immunology, she chose to complete her Integrated Practical Semester at MVZ Ravensburg in the serology and immunology department.

She is currently working on her Bachelor’s thesis in the µOrganoLab together with Dr. Mathias Busek. Her research focuses on the recirculation of immune cell populations and their interaction with an endothelial layer in a pumpless recirculating Organ-on-Chip system.

Outside of work, Esther enjoys traveling, doing crafts such as crochet and drawing and experimenting with vegan meals and snacks or spending time with her friends.
