Nina Köder

Staff Scientist

Nina completed her B.Sc. in Medical Engineering at the Universities of Tübingen and Stuttgart before pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Technologies at the University of Tübingen. For her Master’s thesis, she joined the Fraunhofer TLC-RT in Würzburg, where she worked on a skin organoid-based in vitro model, in collaboration with the µOrganoLab.
She continued at the institute as a research associate for 1.5 years, gaining extensive experience in the development and application of complex in vitro systems.

In the µOrganoLab, she is working on a peritoneum-on-chip model to better understand the development of endometriosis.

In her free time, she enjoys running, baking, traveling and reading.
