Sarah Trumpfheller
MSc Student
In 2022, Sarah received her Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen.
During her bachelor thesis, she worked on establishing an iPSC model for JAGN1-
associated neutropenia. During this, Sarah recognised this model system as a field of interest
for herself. Before starting her Master’s studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies in
2023, she had a student assistant position for 6 months at NMI. The last semester of her studies,
which she will spend in the Loskill lab, is dedicated to her master's thesis on oxygen
consumption and mitochondrial respiration in a heart-on-chip model.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys gardening, bouldering and spending time with friends.
