Tanishka Gavankar

MSc Student

Tanishka received her bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai, in 2022. During her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship in a Pharmaceutical Quality Control Laboratory, where she gained practical experience in analytical techniques and laboratory quality standards. After graduation, she interned at a water and food testing laboratory, further strengthening her technical and analytical skills.

Her interest in biochemical processes and molecular mechanisms grew during her bachelor’s studies and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen. At the μOrgano-Lab, she is working on the lymphoid tissue-on-chip (LToC) project, exploring micro physiological systems that model immune tissue interactions in vitro.

Outside the lab, Tanishka enjoys reading, cooking and walking in nature.
