Yuwen Huang
MSc Student
Yuwen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering with a specialization in Drug Formulation. During her undergraduate studies, she was involved in research on the biological applications of graphene-based polymethyl derivatives and completed her thesis on the induced expression and characterization of sorbitol oxidase, focusing on enzyme expression systems and biochemical analysis.
To further develop her academic profile, she continued her studies in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at the University of Tübingen. Alongside foundational coursework, she gained practical laboratory experience in pharmaceutical analysis, where she established appropriate operating conditions for the separation of chiral amino acids. She also completed a two-month internship at ZMF, working on microchip fabrication and pump testing within a technical laboratory environment.
Currently, she's conducting her Master’s thesis in the Organolab, where she aims to deepen her expertise in applied pharmaceutical research and analytical methodologies.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new activities and challenges, guided by curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.
