Anna Fietta

Anna pursued master’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of Bologna (Italy). During her M.Sc. in 2020, she joined the BIAMET Lab of Prof. Dr. Elisa Cimetta at the University of Padova (Italy) where she conducted her Master's thesis project on hypoxia-derived exosomes and miR-210-3p as factors enhancing migration and invasiveness of neuroblastoma cells.
At the end of 2021, she started her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Padova in Prof. Cimetta’s Lab. At the beginning of 2023, she joined the Micro-Organo Lab to study neuroblastoma metastatic dissemination through the development of a bone marrow-on-chip.
In her free time, Anna enjoys cooking delicious Italian dishes, playing volleyball, and traveling.
