Franziska Kern
Lab Manager
Franziska studied Nanoscience at the University of Tübingen, where she completed her Bachelor’s thesis in the field of chemistry synthesizing and characterizing mesoporous silica materials as potential catalysts. She performed research for her Master's thesis in the Schenke-Layland Lab at the University of Tübingen, focusing on 2D and 3D co-culture models for beta- and endothelial cells to investigate their metabolism by NADH fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy. Franziska joined the µOrgano Lab in November 2020 as a lab manager.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, biking and walking with her dog.
