Lena acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science at University of Hohenheim in 2016 and completed her studies in Clinical Nutrition in 2020 with a Master’s degree from the same university. During her Master’s thesis, she compared different 2D and 3D models of human white adipose tissue by analyzing gene expression profiles. This work was done in cooperation with University of Reutlingen.
She joined the Loskill Lab in early 2020, supporting the Retina-on-a-Chip team and performing cell isolations and other cell culture tasks. In her free time, she is a passionate chef at home, joins sport courses in the gym and loves checking out new restaurants.
