Tzujung Huang

MSc Student

Tzujung is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biochemistry at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. In 2018, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at the National Central University in Taiwan. During the Master’s program, her research involved cGMP and FRET measurement to understand the crosstalk between cGMP and calcium signal in human melanoma cells. In another lab rotation, she worked on gene editing and protein purification to learn the best way to purify Cyc2 proteins.

She joined the Loskill Lab in March 2021 for her Master’s thesis. Under the supervision of Claudia and Ibra, she will investigate linear and circular perfusion of immune cells through microfluidic chips and their impact on cell viability and activation. In her free time, Tzujung enjoys cooking and baking, singing and traveling.
