Practical applications of Organ-on-Chip have been limited by its reliance on manual handling and the subsequent low-throughput.
To overcome these limitations and achieve better throughput, we developed the Organ-on-a-disc, or Organ-Disc, technology by combining the concepts of Organ-on-a-chip with centrifugal microfluidics. Check out our featured publication in APL Bioengineering and the API Scilight.
